Summer outdoor swimming school

For children at the age of 5 and older (born at the latest in 2020).

1:45 hours per day, Monday to Friday for 2 weeks.

At the swimming school the children play both on land and in the water, practice swimming techniques and life saving. The swimming school is led by swimming teachers and activity leaders. The spoken language is Swedish.

Registration only on-line.

Note that the specific time for your child's participation depends on how many groups the registered children are divided into. This will decided after all registrations have been made.

Fee and payment

We will send you an invoice two weeks before the swimming school starts. To keep your place, payment is due before the swimming school starts.

The fee includes a swimming badge for the child.

Fee for members of Folkhälsan:

40€ for the first child

Siblings are granted a discount, the fee for siblings is 35€.

Fee for non-members:

52€ for the first child

The registration is binding. Cancellation of the registration should be done no later than 1 week before the start of the course.

If cancellation is made less than 1 week before start, you pay full price. Exceptions are given only with medical certificates.

In case that Folkhälsan have to cancel the swimming school: if 50% or more of the course has been held, you will pay the full price (no refund). If less than 50% of the course has been held, you will pay 50% of the price (50% refund). If the course can't be held at all, you will not pay anything (100% refund).

The beach where the swimming school is held, is at Kapellviken below the church. There is a sign "Folkhälsan Simskola" by the road to direct you to the swimming school.
